 Time travel to the future

Traveling to the future would be great, although at the same time it scares me, there are many possible futures and in my opinion I think they are all bad.

I would like to travel to the future to the countries of the first world, Europe in specific, such as Finland or Denmark.

I would like to know these countries in the 2990, almost reaching the year 3000, because I believe that in the future the world will be destroyed due to the climate crisis but the richest countries will be able to survive, and that people who want to continue living will have to fight to obtain a place in these countries that had to adapt to survive the aggressive climate change.

I believe that these countries would build domes that cover the entire country to protect themselves from UV rays, pollution and keep this air that is breathable for human beings. They would also build giant walls on the coasts to avoid the great swells that occur, they would also be prepared for huge earthquakes, hurricanes and floods.

If I would like to stay in these countries, it will depend on my situation, if I am poor and from a country affected by climate change, I am not willing to fight for a place in these rich countries, I prefer to die,

But if I am a millionaire, it would be very great to live in these super modern and adapted countries.

  1. Hi rocio! Your idea of what the future will be like seems very realistic to me.

  2. Wow, the future you propose sounds quite sad in a sense, but at the same time too real. Unfortunately, this world is falling apart. As much as one dreams of a better world as I usually dream many times, that future becomes an impossible utopia every time.
    I find your perception interesting.
    Greetings!

  3. As I read it, I think that you share many thoughts with George Orwell or Huxley, in a distopian way haha. Let's hope that as South americans we could bring up solutions or be able to build our own domes.
